24-Hour Protest Song with Daniel Bernard Roumain

  • Burlington City Hall 149 Church Street Burlington, VT 05401 United States (map)

Sponsored by the Flynn Center for the Arts:

“Calling all musicians, composers, dancers, actors, authors, poets, painters, students, professors, politicians, legislators, leaders, influencers, advocates, and more. How will you protest?

"Performances are our last, precious bastion of democracy. I'm honored and excited by this opportunity to exercise what I believe is one of the greatest gifts of democracy: our right to assemble, and protest." – DBR

Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) will be performing the entire 24-hour stretch, jamming with local participants on Church Street and connecting virtually with artists across the country. As the son of Haitian immigrants, Daniel will be protesting discriminatory immigration laws in the U.S. What will you protest? All art forms, ages, and abilities are welcome.”
